Fan Contest: Enter our contest for a chance to become a character in our next novel!

‘Dreams of the Many’ is the first in a series of books that follows the journey of Casey Wheeler, Brody Murphy and a company of friends through a dream world that will change their lives forever.

Would you like to be immortalized in print? Enter the contest, and you just might make a special appearance in the second book.

It’s simple! All you have to do is tell us why you would make a great character in the book and invite your friends to ‘like’ this page, so they can participate in the contest!

Contest Rules:
1. You must enter by Bloomsday, June 16th* (if you are an avid reader, you just might recognize the reference. If not, you can learn a little about a literary great by looking it up online).
2. After the contest is closed, we will announce the voting period, during which our fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite entry. Encourage your friends to vote for you!!!
3. When fan voting is closed, a selection committee will choose the lucky winner.
4. We will announce the winning entry on the Fan Page.
5. This is when the fun begins! The winner will answer a series of questions to help us choose an appropriate time, place, occupation and identity for the character.**

*Family, friends and colleagues of the author are not eligible to enter this contest (well, hey, you can enter, but you won’t be considered!). You must be 18 or over to enter this contest. We reserve the right to extend the contest, but don’t count on it (have your say now and make sure you are in the running!). We reserve the right to select two winners if we get lots of great entries. The publication date for this book is not yet scheduled, nor do we guarantee the publication time frame. The creative process is illusory and it takes time to get it right. We will tell you that the first draft is nearly complete. Watch this Fan Page for the release date and other publication and order information.

** The winner(s) is required to sign a release and waiver to confirm the information and selections made in the questionnaire. We reserve the right to select an alternate winner(s) if the waiver is not received and/or if the winner is not willing to agree to the guidelines and terms of the contest and questionnaire. We reserve the right to make the final decision on time, place, occupation and identity for the character and will not consider any inappropriate references, names or suggestions as the rights to this novel and all fictional characters and situations within the novel are owned and managed by the author.

 Local author, Susan Obijiski will be a appearing at BookExpo American 2011 in New York City at the Javits Center, on May 24, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. BEA is an international book exposition and is a major event in the world of literature, and Susan Obijiski is one of the featured authors in attendance.

Dreams of the Many is a far-reaching metaphysical novel that plays mind games, but the stakes are extremely high. When his strange dreams first started, famous actor Brody Murphy paid little attention. What he could not know was that these dreams would change his life and test his sanity. The person controlling his dreams is a young autistic boy named Casey, and for him, the dreams are more than just fantasy; the outcome will determine Casey’s future. Brody is one of 10 mind travelers brought together in a surreal dream world, one designed to help Casey overcome his afflictions and live a normal life. Some of the travelers will succeed and others will fail, but all must have the courage to overcome their nightmares.
